Whether you plan to visit the collection every week or just a few times a year membership is a great value and a great resource. MEMBERSHIP FAQS

MDCC will automatically extend all memberships by two months to help make up for the lack of access experienced during the Covid-19 closure.  These new expiration dates will be tracked electronically.  If you prefer an updated membership card, please request one at the front desk during business hours. We will NOT be mailing out new membership cards. 

If your membership expired between March 15, 2020 and June 4, 2020 your new expiration date is August 4, 2020.

If your membership expires June 5, 2020 – March 15, 2021 add two months to your expiration date and that is your new expiration date.

If you purchased a membership during the closure your expiration date is June 5, 2021.

If your membership expired on or before March 14, 2020 you do not qualify for a membership extension but we would be happy to sell you a new membership.

Online membership purchases must be made using a credit card. If you prefer to pay by cash or check please purchase a membership in person at the front desk during business hours.

Memberships typically expire one year after the date of purchase.  Our Front Desk staff will gladly look up your membership information in our system and let you know when your membership expires.  All memberships that were limited by our Covid-19 closure will be extended by two months, see above.

Yes, our Front Desk staff will gladly look up your membership information in our system.  You may be asked to provide a photo ID such as a driver’s license to confirm your identity.  When you arrive, just check in at the front desk.
